Explore the wonders of North Queensland's tropical coast and the paradise of the Whitsunday Islands aboard the magnificent Isis II. Designed to accommodate twelve guests in total luxury.
Completed and launched in 1988 and extensively refurbished in 1995 and again in 1999, the design and decor of this vessel clearly reflects the good taste of the original owners. The finish and eye for detail has to be seen to be appreciated.
The Main Saloon
A separate powder room and toilet are provided for the service of guests whilst lounging or dining. The mystique and grandeur of the east is ever present while luxuriating in the saloon or dining on board Isis II. Authentic Egyptian bronze statues, rich tones of burgundy leather and fine fabrics are contrasted by the lustre of hammer beaten gold panels on the ceilings and furniture.
Delicate staining processes enhance the natural texture of
specially selected Canadian Birds Eye maple used extensively
throughout the vessel. Eight guests may be seated and served
elegantly in the Isis dining room.
The French polished table is a true artwork of inlaid timbers in the warm reddish hues, no detail is forgotten. Surrounding mahogany and Birds Eye cupboards and drawers protect the hand crafted Christofle silver ware, Waterford crystal and fine Wedgewood china. Concealed TV / Video units rise automatically in direct view of the lounge guests. The audio visual equipment is of exceptional standard enabling total quality control.
An illuminated cabinet featuring the finest crystal decanters and glassware emerges on request from within the saloon bar. A refrigerator and icemaker fully contain the Isis bar. Spectacular mood shifts can be controlled using the intricate lighting systems created throughout the vessel. Guests may be soothed or exhilarated by lighting combinations and subtle control. Undisturbed exterior views are maximised on board as window space was considered in the design of the vessel.
Aft Deck
The aft deck received special attention in the 1999 refit with
the creation of a lounge/dining area overlooking the new fishing
cockpit and swim platform. A magnificent wrap around lounge
offers formal or informal dining for twelve guests at a superb
handcrafted timber table, inlaid with the Isis emblem.
Lower Deck
Port & starboard VIP cabins, a full beam Master stateroom and the new aft stateroom, provide sumptuous accommodation for eight to twelve guests. All staterooms and cabins boast magnificent ensuites, which continue the theme in their decoration. Elegant fabrics accentuate the glow of the rich Birds Eye maple paneled interior of each cabin. The Egyptian character is enhanced by the superb gold paneling throughout. The Master stateroom also boasts a full size walk in robe.
The Fly Bridge
The covered top deck fly bridge, complete with large spa, BBQ, bar, icemaker and sink, provides an ideal area for guests to relax. Also included, a fully customised skeet shooting range for the use of guests. The fly bridge is also storage for a 6.5 metre Zodiac rigid inflatable tender and a 750cc Kawasaki jet ski (local license required). Both craft are deployed by electro hydraulic davits. Sun lounges and outdoor dining furniture completes this impressive (alfresco) area of the vessel.
Fishing cockpit & water sports platform
An integral part of the design for the1999 refit and five metre extension, was the provision of first class fishing & water sport facilities. A full beam fishing cockpit and swim/dive platform was constructed complete with equipment lockers and fresh water showers. This new area makes easy, the access to the vessels water toys and tenders.
