Peter “The Frog” Taylor’s July 1 Snow Update
Just in from Snowwatch.com.au
A large high pressure system sitting over the SE of the country will bring fine and sunny days and cool clear nights through til Sunday.
A weak change on Sunday will see showers developing that will continue into Monday before a cooler change arrives in the VIC resorts during the morning and later in the NSW resorts with snow and blizzard conditions likely.
The snowfalls should then continue on and off with strong winds for the remainder of the week with around 20cm being the minimum likely with the chance of possibly up to 40cm across the resort areas.
The following week should see a high pressure system bring more stable conditions before a mositure band arrives around the 13th that should bring some showers ahead of a much cooler system that should arrive around the 15th. At the moment it looks like we could see low level snow across the 15th-18th.
Looking further ahead the things are looking up with some strong systems developing around the southern hemisphere. Snow bearing systems are likely around the 22nd-24th and then the 28th-30th.
